Although our final calculations are not complete, our gross was $2,600 and our net profit was just under $2,100.  In addition, we received our annual Soroptomists donation of $700.  Thank you Soroptomists!  We also had a record number of participants this year.  We keep growing every year!  And, once again, we will be able to send 5 campers to Tech Trek this summer!  Thank you to all!

Additionally, we welcome two new members who joined our branch at this event!   When we recruit new members at an event open to the public during January 1 through March 15, the half-year national dues deal doubles, making national dues just $12.25. By combining half-year dues with the Shape the Future campaign we can offer potential new members 75 percent off AAUW national dues. Wow!

A big thank you to  the basket making team, Joan Eignor, Sherry Coffee, Sharon Huguet, and Charon Laura for the coordinating of all the donations into fantastic baskets and silent auction items.  Thank you, also, to Julie Contestable, Natalie Kidder, and Karen Schlump for the time you gave to collect so many donations.  As always, Mary Marino, your help with publicity is appreciated.

Most of all, thank you to all our AAUW members who bought tickets, provided food, drinks, balloons, ribbons, donated talent, gifts, and support to make this such a successful, fun night.  No matter how you support our fundraiser, big or small, your contribution is important to the success of the night and our goal of sending 5 young ladies to Tech Trek camp.

Just a reminder, the Benicia and Vallejo businesses that donate to out fundraiser really want to hear from you as to how much we appreciate their donations.  Please, go to their store or restaurant  (listed below), buy something, and thank them for their generous donation to AAUW.  And, if you were one of the lucky winners of a silent auction item or gift basket, please take the time to let the donor of your prize know how much we appreciate their support for AAUW.
